In early April, I embarked on my first destination wedding photography adventure. Brittany and Eric, a delightful couple from Minnesota, chose me to capture their special day in St. Petersburg, Florida. The day was perfect for an intimate beach wedding at Treasure Island Florida Sunset Vistas, promising unforgettable memories.
Journey to Treasure Island
Our adventure began at the charming Sunset Vistas. Brittany, Eric, and their close family and friends stayed here during the wedding festivities. Everyone buzzed with excitement as we prepared for the day ahead in this beautiful resort located on the picturesque Treasure Island beach.
A Ceremony by the Shore
Florida Beach Wedding set up the ceremony on the soft sands of Treasure Island Florida Sunset Vistas beach, just outside the hotel. The intimate setting allowed Brittany and Eric to exchange heartfelt vows against the backdrop of serene Gulf waters and clear blue skies. Florida’s stunning coastline added a magical touch to their vows.
From Sand to Celebration
After the beach ceremony, the wedding party boarded the Star Trolley, adding a charming twist to our journey from ceremony to reception. Laughter and anticipation filled the trolley as we headed to our next stop, the Calypso Breeze cruise.

Although the Calypso Breeze remained docked, the reception was still full of charm. Inside the ship, an evening of joy unfolded with a delicious buffet-style dinner and a sweet cake-cutting ceremony. The music and dancing, surrounded by stunning sunset views over Treasure Island Florida Sunset Vistas, kept everyone entertained. Brittany, Eric, and their guests celebrated their new journey together with every dance step.
A Day to Remember
Capturing Brittany and Eric’s wedding day was a dream come true. The stunning beachfront vows and the festive atmosphere on the cruise highlighted every moment of love and celebration. The perfect Florida weather, gentle sea breeze, and golden sunset provided a spectacular photographic backdrop.
