Almquist Farm | January 2022

What a winter wonderland dream it turned out to be! One of my favorite parts of my job is capturing such down to earth madly in-love couples like Erin and Mike. These two were not only surrounded by endless snow but also amazing family and friends on their wedding day, and there were such sweet moments that stuck out to me as I captured each part of the day. I loved watching the way these two looked at each other with love so pure in their eyes!

As I drove into Almquist Farm the morning of Erin and Mike's wedding day I remember thinking how magical the snow will look for their outdoor portraits. What a surprise it turned out to be when the snow continued to fall the entire day. Luckily, Erin and Mike along with their bridal party were so laid back and handled the snow like it was nothing. They embraced it all knowing that no matter what the day brought they were marrying their best friend.  It also meant they got to snuggle closer to each other to stay warm creating such adorable portraits!

When Erin reached out to me with exciting news of their engagement my heart was bursting with joy and I prayed for the opportunity to capture their love story. After meeting Erin during their engagement session I knew he had found his one and only! Erin is the kindest and happiest person I have ever met, her smile can brighten anyone's day!

As you scroll through their wedding day I hope you see in the images the absolutely captivating chemistry these two have and the love in their eyes. I loved every part of this day and I can't wait to share it with you. From the beautiful wooden red barn and granary to snowy outdoor portraits, this day was a dream!

Mike and Erin, I hope you two are enjoying your first few days as husband and wife! What an honor it was to capture your beautiful winter wedding! Thank you for entrusting me and for being such supportive friends! God Bless!
