Since their son turned one, I’ve had the privilege of documenting the growth and joy of the Ruud family. Based in Buffalo, MN, this delightful family has become one of my favorites to capture over the years. This fall, I had the pleasure of visiting their home once again for their annual family portrait session, and it was nothing short of magical.
As I arrived at their home, I couldn’t help but notice how much the kids and their adorable puppy had grown since last year. It’s always a heartwarming experience to witness the passage of time through my lens, and seeing how much they’ve grown fills me with joy. Their family portrait session this year was stunning as the fall blessed us with a stunning display of fall colors, painting the landscape with hues of red, orange, and gold.
The ground was covered with a blanket of fallen leaves, providing the perfect backdrop for our session. The kids wasted no time diving into the piles of leaves, creating leaf angels and tossing them joyfully into the air. Even mom and dad joined in on the fun creating pure fall memories, it was the best!
As I clicked away, capturing candid moments of laughter and play, I couldn’t help but smile at the genuine happiness radiating from the Ruud family. Every time I go through their family portrait sessions, a smile lights up my face because I simply adore them. The family’s warmth, love, and authenticity shine through in every frame, making it a joy to capture their memories year after year.
I feel honored to have been a part of their journey and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow and thrive in the years to come. Here’s to many more memories and moments shared with the Ruud family.
